A message from the Show Producer/Owner (June 1, 2008):

It saddens me to tell you that I need to postpone Quilting on the Waterfront (QTW) 2008, which I have been planning to present on August 14-15-16 in Duluth, MN.
QTW will not happen this year.

Here's why:
On December 11, 2007, my husband and I were hit by a car while walking (on the sidewalk) not far from our home in Duluth. A car came around the curve too fast, lost control, jumped the curb, and hit us both from behind. As you can imagine, we both sustained injuries as a result of this hit. Without going into more details, I just want to say that it could have been worse and we are very thankful it wasn't.

Postponing QTW 2008 was a *very* difficult decision for me, as I love everything about it. Over the years, I have worked hard to create a quality event that educates and inspires quilters...and, I feel I've reached that goal. Ultimately, however, concern for my health and well-being at this time has won out. I have been experiencing some problems that are setting me back in my healing process. So, to insure that I heal as best as possible and not create future problems, I will be taking a break from QTW. That doesn't mean forever...just until I'm ready to resume my plans again.

Thank you for your patience, your support, your participation in previous QTW's, and your understanding.
