A new message from the Show Producer/Owner (May 25, 2009):

(Note: To be sure you are viewing the updated version of my Web site, please click on the Refresh button or View/Refresh on your toolbar.)

After doing my research, checking to be sure my 2010 dates would not conflict with any other major quilting event(s) that you might want to participate in, I posted them here as October 7-8-9, 2010. THEN...I learned that the AQS-Des Moines Show had moved their dates from late October to early October for 2010. So...I rethought my dates, checked with the Holiday Inn - Downtown Duluth, and changed my dates to:
October 14-15-16, 2010. (Thursday-Friday-Saturday)

Again...my 2010 event will focus on education...great teachers presenting a variety of wonderful quiltmaking techniques ~ some new, some not-so-new ~ all wonderful!

Please keep checking back for more information...I will add teacher names and workshop titles as my event develops.
Save the dates! I hope you can come!

Thank you all for being so patient with me regarding this Web site, my QTW Email Newsletter, and my quilting events. I have sincerely appreciated your messages of kindness and concern regarding our accident (explained below) on December 11, 2007. My husband and I are moving forward from this experience and all that it involved as we continue working on getting our lives and health back in order.
Life is precious ~ don't take it for granted!

Here's what happened:
On December 11, 2007, my husband and I were hit by a car while we were walking (on the sidewalk) not far from our home in Duluth. A car came around the curve too fast, lost control, jumped the curb, and hit us both from behind. We both sustained injuries as a result of this hit. Without going into more details, I just want to say that it could have been worse and we are very thankful it wasn't.

Thank you for your patience, your support, your participation in previous QTW's, and your understanding.
I am working my way back!......
..
Helen :-)
